Through an opened window
She sees a cute boy
Giggling innocence now
In the park, playing with a toy.

His delicate frame hidden
Under brand new fabric
Running around like a kitten
Defying all natural, a maverick.

She blinks and her boy is gone
Barren land stares in her face
Back on her blank bed, she’s all alone
Dams break, she gasps, grimace.

‘Come here mom’, her son sighs
Smiling from his study table
‘Just stay’, she hops off her thighs
And hugs a silhouette, feeble.
